Hammond B-3 & Leslie rentals: answers to your requirements

If your techinical rider states “Hammond B-3 & Leslie”, we can suppy this system to you. The specifications of the system available is as follows:

• 1973 vintage Hammond B-3.
• 230V/50Hz model (no frequency converter)
• Leslie speed control by kick switch mounted on volume pedal left side + push-button on lower left cheekblock. Both switches operate in parallel/independent (No half-moon switch installed)
• Additional footswitch can be supplied on request
• Connection for 2 type 122 leslie cabinets
• one 5-pin outlet for Hammond tone cabinets (No speed switching)
• Line output available (balanced, XLR connector)
• AC-Power distribution outlet ( 4 connectors, not switched)
• no other modifications (= no distortion units or reverb units)
• pedalboard (no midi)

Leslie cabinet

• We can supply 1 or 2 identical untits. (1969 and 1972 vintage)
• Type 251 cabinet (= similar to 147, with small speakers for stationary channel added to the sides of the cabinet)
• amplifier input modified to accept type 122 input.
• type 147 output configuration
• EIS solid state-relay for faster switching
• Reverb unit according to Leslie 122RV specification added to secondary channel amp.
• option switch: fast-slow switching or fast-stop. No brake option.

other options:

• Hammond PR-40 tone cabinet (available only in the Audiopaja studio: we don’t want to move this one)
• 800 watt off-line UPS to stabilize power supply when running on generator power.
